Gosh, I'm gonna have to be really creative about this if I wanna make it not boring. Then again, creativity is how I got myself into these shenanigans in the first place.
I've always been a huge reader and I've been writing since I could hold a pencil. In first grade I wrote horror stories starring me and my friends, inspired by a storybook game and the series Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark. The first fanfic I ever wrote was for the movie Van Helsing, and even though it wasn't bad, I've since taken it down because yipes.
I wrote my first lesbian fanfic when I was fifteen, at a time when I was still having trouble accepting my own sexuality. Reading and writing fanfic was a way to understand what I was going through, as there were no real world outlets for me at the time. When I started watching Buffy, I found that I saw myself in Tara, and I adored the Willow/Tara ship. I devoured all the W/T fic I could find and my first multi-chapter fic was about them.
Since then I've gone from careful to shameless in terms of how much smut I'm willing to read and write. I've stumbled across kinks and tropes and gone from "ew, WTF?" to "wow, that's hot" about many of them. My most recent (and most popular) project is an omegaverse fic, the concept of which originally horrified me. I can't wait to see how much farther down the sinful rabbit hole I can go!

RANDOM TRIVIA
- I've been writing fanfic for twelve years.
- I wrote myself into the fics Feeling All the Feels and My Love, My Life, My Warrior, just for fun.
- My lesbian character heroes/role models are Tara from BtVS and Lexa from The 100.
- I've been singing since I was about three and I've been playing guitar almost as long as I've been writing fanfic. I've written a couple of my own songs, too.
- My original pen name, Restless Goddess, came from my favorite BtVS episode "Restless" and the fact that I thought Tara was a goddess.
- I love Photoshop and I use it to make book covers for fics.
- I used to be able to read Aurebesh (the Star Wars alphabet) fluently. I'm still pretty good at it and I use the font if I'm writing mature stuff in a place where someone could read over my shoulder.
- I can write in shorthand, but not to speed. I use it to write mature stuff in public or write things like "fuck this shit" in the margins of my school notebook.
- I write original stuff that I hope to get published someday.
